2023: To Begin

Waking up this morning felt like opening a new book. There are pages of possibility for the year ahead.

At the close of each year, I spend time reflecting on the things that gave me energy and depleted my energy. That knowledge comes with me into the new year, and I use it to make better decisions. I reflected upon the following as I set goals and intentions for 2023:

  • January 1 is one day to begin. There are 364 others, so spread the love and growth throughout the year.

  • Clearly defined priorities are the most critical part of this process. If I cannot define what is most important for me, who will?

  • The year will bring challenges and opportunities unknown to me today. Be open to what comes and adjust accordingly.

  • Take comfort in the people I love most and connect with them regularly. Time together is precious.

Welcome 2023. May the year bring you growth, fulfillment, and the ability to begin anew.
