Goal Setting for 2025, Part One: Reflections & Big Dreams

Now is a great time to pause, assess 2024, and dream about your future.  Schedule about an hour of your time for this two-part activity before you define 2025 goals.

 

First, close the books on 2024. 

What gave you energy?  What took your energy?  What wisdom do you want to bring into the new year?  My blog post on closing the year provides a blueprint for this exercise.  It is something I look forward to every year.

 

Next, write down your big dreams. 

What are your big dreams: for your career, for your relationships, for your life?  Think about this exercise in two ways: what are the big dreams you're reaching for, and what are the big dreams you already achieved?  Remind yourself of all you've accomplished as you pave the way for new growth.
